Ward Plan for Wimborne St Giles At it's meeting on 1st July 2009, Knowlton Parish Council agreed to support the councillors and residents of Wimborne St Giles Ward in their preparation of a plan for the future of their community. The 'Plan' is a statement of how the community sees itself developing over the next few years. It; - will reflect the views of all sections of the community. - will identify which features and local characteristics people value. - will identify local problems and opportunities. - will spell out how residents want the community to develop in the future. - will prepare a plan of action to achieve this vision. The Parish Council ultimately takes responsibility for producing and endorsing the Plan, however, the work will be done by a steering group/working parties drawn from all sections of the parish ward of Wimborne St Giles to represent the views of the whole community. |
